Joshuah Campbell
Joshuah Campbell is a recent graduate of Harvard College, singer-songwriter, and actor originally from Cheraw, South Carolina.
He believes in approaching singing holistically, and has done everything from straight-ahead jazz to classic soul to Mozart’s Requiem. As such, his performance practice trots the lines between genres, and does not shy away from using music as a tool for social justice.
Recently, he has had the chance to learn from and perform for Vijay Iyer, Yosvany Terry, Esperanza Spalding, and others.
For Joshuah, music is church and home and bodies-in-motion and people trying to change things with the power they’ve been given, which is his goal every time he opens his mouth to sing.
